To reset the ecu you take off both battery cables and hold them together. I do it for 30 min to be sure.

I reset mine by grounding the positive cable for 30 seconds, reconnecting it, then turn the headlights on, off, on, then off. Read that somewhere, but it definitely reset everything.

Drove Mine to Hilltop offroad in St Helens and helped clear trails and build a small frame twister for the mud fests coming up.

idk, i just know they are 784 injectors. ya take both batter terminals hold em together for 30 seconds. reconnect em to the battery. then turn the ignition to on put dont start the jeep. turn on the headlights for 10 seconds. turn em off. turn the ignition off and that flashes the PCM adaptive memory.

Found a 44 out of an 87 in the JY in Puyallup. Someone got the tow package off it, but no one noticed the 44? Also found an offset waggy 44 for my dad's CJ5 and snagged that for him while. Now he doesn't have to worry about two-piece axles!

I wish I had more pictures of the paint and swap procedure(pretty basic stuff though.) It was a LONG day. Left the house at 6am and finished everything at 5am the next morning. Don't have the luxury of another vehicle atm.

Just another shot of it with some sun on it. Wish the rest of the Jeep was as clean as my rear axle! BTW this 44 happened to be the correct gearing, had a factory LSD, and the bearings and seals were in great shape! I got so lucky. Lockright up front and now a LSD in back. Sweeeeet. Yes I know I'm missing a cover bolt. Was missing from the JY and I couldn't find one in my shop anywhere.

it's amazing the difference this rear axle made just in daily driving. i guess the old 35 had worn bearings.

And just a little extra for you guys. One of the trucks I run.
