I finally got a chance to remove the stock auxiliary trans cooler and put up a bigger one. My winch blocked my other one entirely and I wanted to ensure stable operating temps.

Topped off my oil, tested my spark plug wire resistance, checked my IAC and TPS. Installed a new TPS and IAC, cleaned out the dizzy. Found my oil leak is from the oil pressure sending unit. Gonna throw a new dizzy, wires and sending unit on it next paycheck probably a crank sensor too.

I have an electrical issue. Hah my battery dies over night. Cant seem to find the source thought maybe a bad cell so bought new battery same issue. Also not my headlights wont come on all the time and sometimes when they do the running lights wont. Or vise versa. You can sometimes get them to all come on my wiggling the switch. Not sure if maybe the switch is drawing power? Didnt know if maybe replacing the switch would be the logical next step and see if that stops the drainage. Or is there a way to test the switch. Any electrical advise would help

Switch won't draw power to drain the battery. Well shouldn't... I'd be probing around with a multimeter to see what's pulling power.

When I say the switch won't draw power, I mean the component itself won't draw current. It may be sending power to the headlights causing them to drain the battery...

I've used a very simple way. Disconnect one of the battery terminal, and put an amp meter in between the connector and the post. (watch polarities. match meter polarity with bare post) I f you don't have an amp meter, find an 12V led lamp or something that takes very little current to function. Connect and watch. make sure key is out of ignition and doors are closed and under hood trouble light is disconnected.

If it turns on or draws current, start pulling (and re-installing) fuses until it stops or current draw drops to 0 then start tracing the circuit of that fuse. A dome light is often a culprit...

Drove it back from Moab

Well, really we drove around Moab a bit on the way back from my vacation in Colorado. Rode the bike through Arches and out on a service road with the wife following in the Jeep.

That's a sweet picture Westy, that Solistica in the background? Next weekend I'm busy as hell but the weekend after we should try to hit up something just to stretch our Springs :-)
