Default My 207k '92 Red XJ

Welded my door hinges back on (with the help of a friend with a welder).

Cut the hinges for easy door removal. Looking for a good way to do disconnects for the wiring.

Last Week:
-Power steering pump
-Muffler
-Upper steering linkage (the one that slips and causes that dead spot in the steering)

Or a "T" with a hi temp/pressure gate valve? Then just open/close the valve?

Yea, in the future I might look into something like that.

New ball joints, vehicle speed sensor, fresh tires and got half my fender flares on. Ran out of time at work. Didn't realize how much was involved to install these things. For some reason I don't enjoy spending more money on tires than the rest of the jeep is worth.

New member. First post.

I took my new-to-me 1992 XJ to the exhaust shop. The previous owner supplied a lame thin-gauge tailpipe (from NAPA) and a cheap & tiny "Raptor" muffler. Jerry's Exhaust in Everett supplied better parts for a reasonable price.

My NP231J transfer case is toast -- it's next on the list.

on topic tho.. yanked my dingy headliner out and got my speakers mounted up. also tossed my old grab handles for ones that are a bit more comfortable to hang on to. found them at west marine while looking for more parts for my cargo build

not the most high end speakers in the world, but they do the job just fine. with 4 of them, should be plenty loud enough for when I take my doors off.
