Vacuumed it and found some $$$
Then inspected under and found my fuel pump connector dangling and hitting the differential. (I went there cause i got an engine light P0001 Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit/Open and my fuel gauge stopped working)
The wires are damaged right flush with the plug. Sigh.. now I have to bypass a couple wires on that plug.
also noticed my rear bump stops are missing. That explains the loud bang when I was wheeling with family and all my gear.
Now Lets fix those

It was hit by a f150 on that door back when it was stock and has a good size gash in it. I still have the old door and it still opens and closes but lets in a lot of air/water so I just grabbed a new set when I had to cut the passenger side door off to get it to open after I got a little carried away at Tahuya lol. The new doors work good but the different red is kinda annoying...

Disconnect your injector for the bad cylinder and you won't burn unneccary fuel until you find a replacement. It would sound weird but you could go as far as removing the spark plug too. Why compress air that won't be used. (If you don't plan a rebuild that is)

Washed the xj after playing at tahuya then picked up a full size spare for my rig and then picked up a bunch of rover parts for my land rover. God I just loooove rovers.

thanks Slim
