Got new rims an tires on my tow rig

 

Swapped out my 33s for a set of new 35 Maxxis Bighorns.

 

Man i love the truck, hate the rims, looks good though! Just something i wouldnt do not tryin to bash ya.

Hows the jeep build comin, i cant wait to see the ls1 in the xj.

 

put the new motor in the 91 sport today. Couple snags along the way but got it wittled out. Runs like a champ, drove it 40 miles afterward with no hiccups! YAY!

the backstory to this is i bought a jeep with bad motor for 400, put a motor i got for free with a parts jeep in it, didnt run right had a cracked block.

Bought another known running 98 motor long block with everything including starter, intake, alternator, everything! For 275. Broke it down and put all the 91 stuff on it and dropped it in, purs like a kitty.

 

Welded on a flowmuncher and a turn down!

 

Removed the badges off the rear hatch. Blacked out the rest.

 

laughed at everyone without 4wd.. yay spring!

 

Damn i wish it would have snowed like that here.

 

got new bushing on front sway bar, going to install on XJ on Sat or Sun

 

Today? I buried it to the top of the tire in snow :P

 

Got some brand new 33inch BFG mud terrains

 

Started fabbing out a roof rack made using the base of a futon.

 

Ran to the pick n pull and picked up some rear disk swap stuff. Every single XJ rear driveshaft was gone, and still no post-facelift XJs to steal parts from. Oh well, at least I got all the swap stuff minus rotors and parking brake cables.

 

What are u guys running for cables? I haven't been able to find a set of cables long enough for mine.
