No particular reason why ... I just did it. I replaced my headliner last week with one out of a 96 XJ (great shape - junk yard find) and while I was rummaging around the junk yard for misc parts (overhead lighting, electrical fixtures, etc) to complete the project I happened across a late 70's Wagoneer. I've always loved the design and so I took a few parts, including the roof rack just for the hell of it. Total cost including headliner was about 25 bucks so I couldn't complain. Today I removed the original roof rack getup and adapted the Wagoner's to fit. Not too complicated. It'll do until I get around to building one.

Some of which i did a couple days ago but, I flushed my coolant system and boy was it nasty! It was extremely neglected by the PO. It looked like rust with a bit of water and took me about 6 flushes to get clear. I had to replace my alternator so I pulled out my AC condenser and reservoir and whatnot so that i can eventually put in my OBA. When i had my battery out i noticed some rust where the pan was so i painted that up. Also changed rear diff fluid and painted the cover. And i started my rear quarter panel cut and fold because i was doing the cut and fold in my rear fenders and figured why the heck not. So i only completed my drivers side fender.
Well I put my bilistein 5125 with 12" travel finished up my rock sliders and put a Skyjackers steering satbilizer on. Then I took it wheeling for the first time since December. Blew a raidator hose and a u-joint, maybe I should of took it a little softer for my jeeps first time out. At least I have lifetime warranty on the u-joint I told the guy at the parts store that I might break one and told and he said I really dont think you will be able to break these.
