Disconnected and cleaned every connector in the engine compartment and treated all the pins with Stabilant-22. Runs like a champ now! Except for the leaking distributor. Guess I'll have to pull it and put that gasket under it. Thought it hadn't been included in the box, but found it on the floor of the garage...

Took it to "the dump" (county refuse and recycle center for large collections that the trash,en don't take). Thinking more and more with winter coming, I'll wait to sell it till after winter.

Two things.
1. I stripped it and sold all the parts.

2. I finished rebuilding my spare AX-15...just in time to no longer have a use for it. Anyone looking for a good-as-new 5-speed??
Starting Point:

Teardown:

No turning back now...

Going back together:

And yes, I forgot to install the input shaft and had to nearly start all over again after I took this picture...
Finished!

The busted stuff...

That black thing is the accumulator, i think the other thing is the pump. Peice of crap bendix abs system. Jeep has a active recall on them, lifetime on those two parts.
Call jeep dealer with the vin and see if you can get the work done on it, my cousin had his done for free last year, 1800 in parts and labor for free!
But if it were me i would tear out the abs as suggested, its garbage.
