My xj has the shakes at 60mph, I'm running P215/75R15 Good year Viva 2
I'm going to check the balance at my dads, he has a shop.. and I'm going to cross my fingers and hope it threw a weight.. Anyone have ant sugestions?

 

Check wheel balance, TREs, bushings and the condition of the tires. Worn tires will vibe like a summa*****.

 

tires have like 3k on em thats why I'm thinking its the balance, I'm going to pull the tirees, rotate em, and shake down the front.

You shouldn't have any vibes with those cute little tires.

Take a look at u-joints as well.

 

Gotta rule wheels/tires out first like you're doing.

If no joy, then move onto more complex possibilities (and there are a lot of them)

 

How bad of a shake?

 

Know this well, When I bought mine it had 195 tyres on it, fine for a while but then I found 62mph major vehicle falling apart, kin scary first time also.
Turned out my offside, your nearside wheel was out 160 grammes, had that balanced no problems since.
Now lifted with bigger wheels and tyres and actually in a straight line better than small stuff.

the shake isn't bad its not rocking of anything, its like a vibration almosttype of shake
