I am just missing the sleeve that goes around the hinge pin, giving it enough room to sag a little. I need the mesh sleeve. I would weld some larger grade 8 bolts in there so there would be no need for the sleeves, but there is the small issue of not having a welder.

Ok, another tire size question
I have a 91 XJ that has stock rims.
Will rims 16" rims with 245/70/16s from a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Edition fit if there is no suspension lift.
I am trying my best to put tires on my truck before I have surgery on the 19th. I will be down for quite a while [2 months] and I am trying to get this wrapped up before then.
I found this size set on CL and they are within my budget.
I know my rims are 15" and you all have helped me with sizes of 15" tires that will fit but when I saw these I had to ask.
Thanks again!

I’m planning to install 4 pairs of off-road lights on my roof rack (2 forward, 2 rear, 2 left, 2 right) and switch each pair separately with 4 switches I plan to install in the overhead console. I also plan to feed those 4 switches from a keyed safety switch to prevent accidentally turning the lights on. I’m no electrician, but I have a fair grasp of the concepts involved (I think) and have drawn up a wiring diagram of what I think it will take to get it done. I would have inserted/attached it here but I couldn’t figure out how (forgot to mention I’m a complete noob to threads).
What I’m hoping is that there is someone out there who knows automotive electrical and would be willing to take a look at my diagram and let me know if it will work, safely, and as intended. If you can help, please let me know and I’ll email you the diagram.
In the meantime I’m also looking for answers to the following related questions:
What fuse (and how) would you tap into to get "always on" power to new switches (power even when ignition is off)?
What fuse (and how) would you tap into to get "accessory" power new switches (power only when ignition is on)?
What fuse (and how) would you tap into to get power to new switches only when headlights and/or parking lights are on?
Is it possible to add 4 relays & 4 fuses inside the factory Power Distribution Center under the hood? And if so; how would it be done?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
BTW - My Jeep is a 94 Cherokee SE 2 door, 4.0, automatic, 4WD (I don't know if any of that is needed information for my questions, but thought I would throw it out there just in case.)
Thanks

This is a double-cardan joint:

Technically they are both "constant-velocity joints", the first being a Rzeppa style like those found in a Nissan FWD car, the second being a traditional double-cardan U-Joint found in applications that require a lot of torque like truck drive shafts. The operating principles are rather different. Likewise so is the maintenance and parts required.
I sincerely apologize for being so misinformed.

Is there a fuse for the front wipers on a Pre97 and where would it be? Took my jeep out in the rain and found out the wipers didn't work. Checked all the fused i could, nothing was blown. Didn't find a fuse labeled front wipers, but did find a rear wipers fuse.
