Yeah, for example OEM spark plugs are mainly Champion, OEM transmission is Aisin-Warner, etc.

Sometimes it refers to a bulk packaged product like a simple bag, versus full retail packaging with shiny box, manual, accessories, etc

What ever happened to that thread that stated all the 97+ parts that would fit on a 96 and back Cherokee, it used to be a permanent thread.

Hi.

How do I replace the starter for 2.5L 4 cylinder, 1994 Jeep Cherokee?

On the bottom of the starter there are two torx bolts. Anyone know the size of these bolts ?

Hopefully there is enough room that I don't have to drop the oil pan just to replace it ?

The Parts store says there are two kind's, Bosch or Mitsubishi.

I don't have a clue which one it is. So, here is a picture (view from the top):

Not sure of the size, but those are not torx bolts, they are spline drive - you can find a cheap set, here- http://www.harborfreight.com/7-piece...set-96363.html

Heating up not over heating... 180* thermo... heats up at idle and cools down fast when driving around. Coolant is green and not dirty with anything. I started noticing this when i replaced a heater hose from the pump to the valve, but that shouldnt do anything with this?
