Can't help on the mirror aside from maybe some kind of glue. If you don't see any fuel leaks (be sure you don't! Fire extinguishers should be mandatory on Chrysler vehicles) I'd suspect a cracked exhaust manifold.

Gidday RSWiser,
The Tyre size we have is approx 27 1/2 " Diameter. Just an ordinary 215 / 80 R15.
This only just made behind the rear seat so I think you will be struggling to get it to fit the way I've done it.
Good luck in sorting your spare out.
Cheers
Bazz

Open it up and give it gas by hand on the throttle. That's where I would start.
I'll check in the morning, thanks.

Changing my RMS on my 01 and the manifold has to come off. Well I figured I'd look into headers while I am there. My question is why is the 01 different and if I changed my head later to a stronger head, would the headers not fit?

This looks exactly like banks but no where close to the price. Is this a good option? http://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-2006-JE...1a377d&vxp=mtr

I'm not sure about fitment on the head itself, I do know that some heads have a common exhaust port for cylinders 3 and 4 which can mess things up.

The big difference though is in 2000 they included two pre-cats for emissions control. In that pic you install the two pre-cat O2 sensors in those bungs near the flanges, then there are these platinum screens, (catalytic converters sorta) and two post-cat O2 sensors before the exhaust is collected and sent downwards. 1999 and down just collect all cylinders to a single flange that mates with a downpipe that goes to the big cat. The 2000+ computer requires these extra sensors

9 bucks up, shipping will most likely cost more than the grills! But you do what you have to do!

My 98xj will not turn over on the 1st crank no matter how long you try but as soon as I let off & immediately try again it starts right up with no problem?

Maybe check fuel pressure, the line needs to prime before it feeds gas to the injectors. Maybe change out the fuel filter
