Idiot question alert!:
How does one figure out if I have ABS or not? Getting ready to line up a rear disc brake swap, couple shop guys told me you could look at the back axle and could tell. But I have no clue.

The D35 is not a guarantee of ABS, so you MIGHT have it. The C8.25 definitely did not come with ABS. If you have ABS then there wil be sensor wires coming out of the brakes, a wholw bunch of extra crap under the hood, and your ABS light should come on at startup

You could could look and see if you have the relay for abs.

i have concluded that i am not an electrician...lol seriously though 88xj converted to 89 limited. i have eliminated evry wiring issue now to the components, it has to be the cps because i am reading no power out of coil and have no fuel. tried fuel pump on toggle switch and push button start but still no go any thoughts? thanx
try replacing the crank censor had that problem about a year ago

Rear Brakes
Whats up guys, I bought my first xj in the beginning of the year. I recently did the rear brakes and now when I make a hard turn I hear like a rubbing sound. Does anyone know what that could be. I checked and it was not my tires. Please help!!!!

Rear Sway Bar Removal
I understand that in oreder to remove the rear sway bar I also have to unbolt two of the U-bolts correct? My question is can I unbolt tose u-bolts remove the sway bar and then bolt up the same u-bolts again? I always hear never to re-use u-bolts again.
What I'm doing is staging for my lift I'm putting in this weekend and I figured I can get a head start by removing some parts. I'll only be driving on the same set of bolts maybe one more time before I throw the new ones on. Let me know what you guys think! Thanks!

you can, but you don't have to - I ripped mine off without undoing the ubolts - just took a little bit more "persuasion" to get it out of the mounts, but it's skinny enough you can bend it by hand lol - shows how much it does for the stability of the truck huh...?
but if you wanted to undo them to get it off - wouldn't be a problem if it's not permanent.
