Default Headlights

I have a UK spec (right-hand drive) 1995 Jeep Cherokee 2.5 diesel (XJ). I need to import it into Bulgaria which is a left-hand drive country. To get through the vehicle inspection test, I need to change the headlights from right-hand to left-hand drive. Will left-hand drive lights fit straight in or do I need a conversion kit? Or, can the original lights just be adjusted? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

ok, just ripped my entire passenger door apart. we are trying to fix a speaker problem that I have in two of mine and a friend has in one of hers. the speaker will be on if the door is open all the way and when slammed shut. sometimes they will go off if i hit a bump. i'm wondering if we should be looking at the speaker itself or if we should be looking through the wiring?

it's the wire running though the door - very common problem. Remove the kick panel by the brake pedal, you'll find the connector there. Replace the wire between the connector and the speaker using the old one to pull the new wires though the door accordion.

If it's on only when the door is open, I'd be looking for frayed wires within that rubber boot that everything runs through. That was my problem on my drivers side. Just wears through, after years of opening and closing, and rubs on the metal to short itself.
I cut my wires right there, capped them off, and ran some regular 16g speaker wire through, from before I cut, to a few inches before the speaker. Never a problem since.

The only thing that I have found so far is this. http://custombatterycables.com/appli...kee_cables.htm

And it seems kinda shady though. There is a lot of "maybes" in the descriptions.

I believe there is a little green wire that runs along this cable? I'm not to sure about this though. I have never dealt with this before.

And I know I need a new wire because I have traced my starting issue to this. I sometimes go to turn it on and only get a click. I have power and everything. I wiggle the battery cable and it fires right up.
Hey Dukie, do you have any input on this? Maybe what this part is called so I can buy a new one? Or any ideas on how I can rig up a new one? I'm not all that handy with electrical but I don't think it could be to tough since I know where the problem is.

so replacing the wires running to the door didn't work so we are going to try the entire wire from radio to speaker, does anyone have a wiring diagram or color key for a 99 cherokee?

Interesting - part numbers are the same for left and right here. Only thing I can think of is how they are aimed to avoid blinding oncoming traffic.

I once heard of something like this. like if someone drove on the wrong side they would blind you worse cause of how the driver side light is aimed differently than the passenger. And how the H4 conversion kits are different. Not sure how true this is since its hearsay.
