Mine did.

So my 89 Cherokee Laredo is having problems turning over. The batter, starter and alternator passed all the tests. And it is also idling weird. I put new plugs and wires on about 5 or so months ago and all the plugs are gapped to the right gaps. Air filter is clean and throttle body is also clean. Any suggestions on what might be wrong? Maybe O2 sensors or something?

Try testing and/or replacing your TPS.

clean/freshen your grounds first - one at the battery, one at the back of the valve cover

Anybody who has done the dual diaphragm power booster swap know if you can use the stock AMC/Renix style master cylinder? I saw it in an eBay post, but wasn't sure if it's just a load of bull to get it to sell...

no you must swap both the MC and the booster

That's what I was thinking also... So I guess this particular eBay seller is selling something that is potentially dangerous.

New Question:
Last night I removed the door panel on the drivers door to try and fix my electric windows. Didn't remove the panel completely just had it suspended by the metal rods for the door lock and opener.

Fixed the window problem other than passenger window will not go down using the passenger side control. That is another issue.

After replacing the door panel I drove home and the drivers door would not lock. The electric door lock worked on all of the doors other than the drivers door. I couldn't even lock it using the manual lock.

What's up with that. What did I screw up now?

Any ideas what I should be looking for when I remove the door panel this weekend?

Thanks,

RSWiser

So can anyone tell me the locations of the dash lighting in a 96 xj. I got the HVAC lights working, and I know there should be bulbs behind the rear defrost switch and the rear wiper switch. What about the cig lighter and the headlight switch. Should they light up??

Also, kick panel lights? I have wires hanging there with connectors... Not sure what for.

Does the ZJ overhead console work in an XJ?

Edit: the zj is a '96 and my xj is a '00.

Check the two Rods that connect to 1. The handles and 2. The rod that connects too the lock. Move them manually see what happens

Aside from checking rods (do that too), check to make sure you didn't accidentally unplug the lock actuator.
