I should have said "get my jeep running and the car is yours free" lol
I'd get a bill of sale ready saying " Sold as is", with the VIN# and date on it, have him sign it with his drivers license # and address on it, and keep it to cover your ****, besides getting the notary to witness the transfer. JMO

Another oil question... My engine had a little knock to it, my dad told me to put a quart of lucas in with the other 5 quarts. The oil pressure did the same (30-no load, 50 under load). Then I read the back of the lucas bottle and it said to use at least 20 percent lucas. So the next oil change I used 2 quArts and 4 quarts oil. The knock stayed as quite as it did with one quart but the oil pressure stayed went up to about 40 no load 50 under load. Then this time i went back to the 1 quart lucas cause i didnt notice a difference in the noise and the oil pressure went to 28-32 no load and 50-55 underload.

My question is which is better? What oil should I be using? Oh yeah I have been using 10w30 dino oil with all three oil changes

Thanks again

How far down? The AC puts extra strain on your motor and it may not charge as well. Do you have a stereo or extra electrical accessories? What kinda condition is your belt in?

I ran the AC today and now it's dumping a ton of water. I know some is normal but it looks like I dumped out a cup under the jeep. Seems like it's dripping out of the passenger "frame rail."

Yes, I know it's a unibody but it's the part that resembles a framerail where we always reinforce our jeeps.

Basically the lucas additive is an oil thickner that accomplishes the function of heavier oil, so it is good aswell.

It is the cabin fan that draws all that current. You will notice the alt gauge sinking more or less when you switch between the fan speeds.

This is a difficult problem to diagnose with such little information. Start a thread in the tech section explaining what you've done with lots of details.
