Off topic but here it is, ok me and my bro have been arguing about what we think the value of this jeep is. It's my neighbors, so I don't know to much about it. Ok, it's got really nice tires and rims, ok paint job, some size lift, chromed out, trimmed flares, chrome dual exhaust and that's about all I know. We are tryin to judge the value by what we see, so just take a guess... (I know it's horrible pictures but I took em with my phone)

Hi, I have a 96 cherokee country that has a voltage problem I hope you can help with. While driving the volt meter will drop to 10 and the gen light comes on. After a few minutes the volts will go back to 14, and after turning off the engine, then back on, the gen light is off. The battery is 1 year old. I've taken it in for battery and altenator test, but they test fine. The belt is tight, no noises. This happens with or without accessories on, no pattern, just random. The people doing the test say it could be the altenator or the computer. I don't want to randomly replace expensive parts to find the problem, but I don't want to be stranded either. Anyone know what could be causing this?
Thanks in advance.

So the computer would be the part to replace.
Thanks 89xjdan, of course that's the more expensive item. Here is something else that has been happening that may or may not be related. With the heating/cooling fan on, when I climb a hill, giving the engine load, the fan will slow to almost a stop until I reach the top of the hill, then it goes back to normal.

I know when I redo my fenders in the spring I won't be using the cheap spray rubber paint again. That stuff wore off in a few months. With no wheeling......bad stuff
hey guys i have a 99 4 door and I'm now on my 3rd xj getting ready for the lift rims and tires. I've decided on what lift rim and tire size i want to go with but the backspacing is still up in the air I've searched from post to post for info but , anyone that had something to say talked about 4.5" lift or smaller. I'm going with the 6.5"rc la and black rock942s 15x8 with 33x12.5 cooper discover stt's, i want to keep my stock fender flares and not rip them off the first time i flex her out. so the kit recommends 3.75 bs and i personally like the widest stance possible, anybody out there with the same or close type of application with some advice?
