awhile back i posted bout my jeep dying while i was driving it. got it fixed, was a starter wire shorting out. went to pick it up today, started right up, reved to 3000rpm by itself then died. racked my brain, come to figure out my effin fuel pump went out.
my question: has anyone had to replace a TBI type fuel pump and it it a PITA to do?

Hey I got a major problem!
Today I drove for about 15 min then I hit a pretty nasty bump.
Soon after that I realized when I tried to go over 2 grand rpm my jeep sounded like it puttered out and bogged down? Then would idle kinda rough.. I don't quite understand what's going on with my jeep and then I let it cool down for an hr and drove it again and it started off real rough and bogged way down then after some seconds I floored it and it sounded like it got cleaned out and didn't do it again then I turned her off to sit for the night any opinions send em my way please.
Thank you

X3 on the POR 15. I use it. It's great. Unfortunately, its UV sensative, so use it on the inside, not the outside. I painted my engine with their kit, I had to be different so I used the old Chrysler sea green or whatever they call it...I just had to be different...really don't like a black block. Cant tell where its leakin from if it starts too....so I guess its kinda a win win thing here....
Actually Dorman makes a lot of the replacement parts people look for ... Just the other day someone was looking for the water pump tube, said no one could get it. I have the Dorman number if anyone needs it...I ALWAYS replace that tube....anyone can PM me if they can't find a part.. I use 4 vendors...But just letting you know that Dorman makes a lot of parts that seem unobtainable.
As far as the hood release cable...They make it...I've gotten it from them. BUT ALWAYS CHECK THE DEALER PRICES...sometimes they are cheaper...not always..but sometimes.... go figure..
