It does need alinment and wheels balanced. A friend told me front axles were causing it and he cut them out!!! The yokes are still in place. Any ideas on fixing this thing.. Also i pressure washed the engine now it wont shift out of 1st. Looks like it may be tps sensor by reading some posts on here.. Can i just use a blow dryer on it or do i need to replace it?? Its been 3 days now still wont shift? Any help would be great. Thank you
first of all...put the damn axles back in. Your friend is retarded.

Second - obviously get the wheels balanced. Unbalanced wheels will certainly cause a massive vibration problem.

Death wobble is usually because of worn trackbar bushings. Replacing the trackbar would be my first step after balancing the wheels, as well as replacing the tie rod end and steering stabilizer since you already have the part.

On the shifting issue, you most likely need to replace the TPS sensor - it doesn't like water sprayed directly on it.

So my jeep has been hesitating lately and haven't much time to take a look at it but the other I was pulling out of a parking lot and it started to hesitate at the worst time as I was entering traffic soo I give it alittle more gas and then I hear the loudest bang! Scared the s*** out of me. Anyways it then sounded straight piped and it started to run better and not hesitate...sure enough I pull over and look to find my muffler had popped of and hanging with the tail pipe. So my question is could it be that I had a restricted muffler or maybe I just didn't have that clamp tight enough? The muffler is a flowmaster I've had for about 3 years now and I had to take apart last year and put it together with clamps till I could get it welded. Thanks for any help and sorry if I gave too much info lol

Default Battery Cables

I need a new battery cable harness for my 2001 Cherokee. Will the battery harness from a Jeep Wrangler TJ 4.0L work?

my setup is the stock 2.25" downpipe, 2.25" high-flow CAT, neck up to 2.5" Flowmaster muffler, and 2.5" custom mandrel bent tailpipe.

If you're using the stock CAT and muffler, stick with 2.25" piping. If you don't you won't get good exhaust flow due to the empty space. I necked up to 2.5" with mine because of the free-flowing exhaust.

my guess would be front control arm or rear leaf spring bushings

*cough*search button*cough*

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&s...pacer+cherokee

If you choose the spring compressor method, make sure to rent a "Strut Spring Compressor" tool (the 2 piece one). They are MUCH safer than regular coil spring compressors.
