Glad nothing worse happened, like a spark.
Okay, well I'm not sure if I just want to leave it the way it is now. Thing is, if I drill out the pop-rivets and use the putty, the rivets will fall into the tank.

Actually, I bought the collars after I finished drilling the middle portion. Too late though

I was thinking, putty and the rivets together. If that sealant is melted by the gas then maybe putty over the rivets. Temporary fix of course.

I sprayed bedliner over top as well. I'll probably switch the tank out when I get a skid plate.

When installing a new ps steering pump pulley, does the pulley have to be completely flush with the ps pump shaft??

Not all the way. I tried my best to get it where the mark on the old pump was.

Wasn't sure, I just know it's not flush an that's why I think my belt squeaks and wobbles. Due to that pulley sticking farther out.

Hello, my name is Collin and I have a beautiful, stock 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4! For a very long time now my AC has given me a ton of trouble! Here's the issue: refrigerant is put in the system and within a week the cooling ability is gone. Sounds like a leak, right? Well, I've had it professionally checked out by two separate mechanics and they have both come up short! If it truly isn't a leak, might it be a bad compressor? Any thoughts? Thank you.

They can't figure it out with a set of gauges on the system?

Not really sure. I know they both put dye in the system so they could use a sniffer. I just moved from Virginia to Florida so I will get a new mechanic to really check the compressor and give me an estimate what it will cost to replace all the needed parts.

They're probably all WunHungLo specials anyway.

So like an idiot, I bought a '98 TJ radio to put in my '96 cherokee, assuming it would fit, and of course, it doesnt.
Is there any way to for me to use it? Or am I screwed?

I was really hoping I could get a stock radio for my jeep. I hate those cheap looking aftermarket decks.

Wheel chock?

As long as it is single din size it should fit. Not 1.5 or 2 din, 1 din is what I think you are looking for. Our just spend the bucks on a good 1 din aftermarket that has all the stuff you want. Like usb aux and maybe bluetooth that supports your smartphone with Pandora.

Lol, it would definitely work for that.

Well its from a 98 TJ, so whatever size that is. Maybe 1.5 din?
I only want/need FM, I just want a stock looking radio. Everything aftermarket, no matter the price, just looks cheap to me.

Nothing like having manual adjustments for everything i.e. *****. Check the junkyard or eBay for a stock 96 and lower radio a bonus would be all the lights matching the interior
