I was thinking the IAC because the more in traffic im in, the worse it gets. Ill test the TPs, i figured if im not searching for gears or sputtering on acceleration it may not be the TPS

Not necessarily. If the PCM thinks it's always open a little bit it's not going to drive the IAC the same way.

Started my Jeep early to defrost my windshield, and while i was driving i had the control set to aim at my feet. After about 10 minutes it started blowing cold air and my water temp was going up; almost hit 260°. Played around with the controls a little bit and it started to blow hot again and temp went down to normal operating temp. Any ideas on what i should check for? Thanks

Coolant level, t-stat, water pump, coolant condition, radiator...

You symptoms don't point to anything in particular other than it's running hot and the only thing keeping it from hitting red line is the extra cooling effect from the heater core.

I need more details.

Default New to the Jeep thing haha

Well l the long story short. I just bought my first jeep ever actually my first vehicle Out side of Ford lol. I bought a 91 jeep xj with a blown 4.0 in it the original owner ran it out of oil. The body is bone stock with just little bit of rust and the price tag was cheap so I could not pass the deal up. I got an other engine for it and cleaned it up and it's all most ready to put in and the other one that's blow is ready to take out. So my question is, is there helpful tips out there for doing a engine swap? I also what to replace all the hoses Under The Hood. Is There A Kit That Comes With Everything? Is there anything else that I should do special I should do? Thanks for any help I can get!

Ok so I fixed the manifold leak on my 1999 jeep cherokee sport inline 6 engine and I got some fuel on the belts, and there's a loud squeaking and it only gets worse below 30 mph, I put back the power steering pumping right and the belts are tight but when I turn all the way left it squeaks, and my ac doesn't work anymore so that's what I thought the problem was, and I'm not sure if it was caused by the engine revving it's self really high from the intake manifold leak, or the fuel on the belt, or the ac going out, any body have any ideas?

Buy an E-12 socket. The top two bolts on the bell housing uses those.

No hose kit.

What's wrong is that we already have to have 3/8" and 1/2" SAE sockets/wrenches, 3/8 & 1/2" Metric sockets/wrenches,12 point, deep, short, flex sockets, specialized oil filter adapter wrenches , Torx bits, and now we need Torx sockets..,

Precisely why I hate it. I had to track down an E- socket for one bolt on my YJ.
