Seriously, we know nothing about your jeep or driving habits. Go to an autozone and have them read it and post the numbers here. The we can help you

Ok, so now that I have a welder, and a DD car, I'm going to be doing things to make it more trailworthy and not be worried so much about commutability (sure, I guess that's a word).
I want to do something with the rearend, but I don't want to waste any money on my D35. I have 235/75's on it now, so I'm thinking about welding the spider gears in the diff.
Is this something that would be possible with a flex-core welder, and if so, would it be something a beginner welder should attempt?
I know it's gonna chew up my tires, and it's not going to turn as easy anymore... being as I don't have 4wd, would this even be a good idea - I mean am I gonna be on the trails and not be able to turn at all because of the lack of front wheel drive?

Do you mind noises my friend? The wj pumps have a good reputation for being quite noisy lol. Have you thought of getting the smaller pulleys? They give you the extra oomph at lower speeds that we need when off roading. Might be a cheaper option to go till you can save up for a hydro assist as that is the best way to go.

I have never welded spider gears, but if I ever was to try, it wouldn't be with a flux core welder. Leaves to much slag, and if you don't get it ALL cleaned off and it come loose later, it's running through your rear and bearings......RR

X2 on the POR-15 it's a little on the pricey side but its awesome stuff.
