You could run a lil seafoam in the oil for a few miles then do (2) oil changes to completely flush crap out if need be. Was that there previously or you just now noticed it for the first time.

That's the right number for the over sized filter.

Looking for a little trailering info..im looking at possibly trailering a 59 ****** pickup. Wheel base is roughly 9ft but the whole truck is roughly 15ft . The question I have is would I be alright sticking it on a 12ft trailer to cover the wheelbase or does the entire truck need to be over the trailer both for leagal and safety purposes

Should be fine for one haul, my question is what's the trailer rated for because car trailers aren't that small

Those work for Chrysler XJs but Renix models (he has an '89) use a different thread. Cruiser54 has some post with the Renix filters in it somewhere

How much is your hauler going to weigh? Most are 1500-2000 lbs, *****'s pickup lets say 3500 lbs, XJ without towing package falls rather short of that. Even with the towing package you'd have a ***** of a time stopping. Can you flat-tow it or use a dolly?

Would be towed with a ram 2500..im not so much worried about the truck doing the hauling but if having the ****** hang off the trailer any...its not in the best of shape so I would like it up on a trailer
