Temp gauge is unreliable but wasn't lying this time when it said 260°F, and the 'heat' was ice cold til the rad exploded. I'm worried there's a blockage and replacing the rad won't help.

If you're doing an SYE it doesn't matter the junk on the back is replaced.
I'm getting my motor mounts replaced. (Shop replaced motor, charged me $80 for mounts that they didn't install) I called the shop and the guy agreed to refund me the $80, let me provide the mounts, and they install them free of charge.
I've done a fair bit of searching and have seen nothing but positive things about the Brown Dog motor mounts.
My Jeep is 2wd, stock height, stock tires, yadda. There are no real plans to ever do any real off roading with it.
I am one who prefers to buy one quality product rather than 3 or 4 crappy products. I'm okay with paying the ~$100 to get the ultra flex rubber ones if they're going to last me significantly longer than regular OE rubber replacements.
My question: Would the Brown Dog mounts be overkill for my situation? Is there a different product that would more closely suit my needs?

Im not saying Brown Dogs are bad or not worth the money. Im considering a full setup for my rig, but I wouldn't run em on a dd. Especially not the poly type ones, I like my teeth in my mouth.
LOL my sig is counter-productive to my post...

Considering you can get stock style mounts for about 30 bucks, yes, brown dogs are way overkill. If I had to guess, stock style ones will last you for about 90-100k miles at least. look how far your factory ones got you.

If they're the same transmission, yes. The only compatibility issue is the obvious difference in outputs. The '93's tail cone housing is matched with the slip yoke, it rides in and out on the seal. It'll dump fluid if you pull the DS. The '98 model has a seal that contains everything. If you're doing an SYE it doesn't matter the junk on the back is replaced.
Cool. Thanks Salad. I'm gunna swap them. I could prob direct swap em and use the Ds from the 98 as well to make up for the distance. What's your thoughts about that? Then yes im doing a sye later. I searched through tons of sye threads. But I couldn't find a whole lot of tech info only opinions. Any have a link of how to shim the rear pinion angle?
