XJ Ask the Question Thread
Are the bolts on the differential usually really tight? I tried to remove my cover but all of the bolts are really tight. I tired using a hammer to tap them loose but they won't budge. I'm trying to change the rear differential because it is wet around the seal with fluid.

Hi,
I have a 95 XJ country and I have a problem on the driver's side floor getting wet. I've been reading a lot of threads about leaks into the driver's side but my problem is it gets wet when I use the AC and couldn't figure out where's it coming from, usually it should be on the passenger side, where the blower is. Any ideas??

What do you guys think my drive train is worth? 89 4.0 new alternator, new water pump new timing chain and gears, and a new harm balancer. 268k on it runs great.
Aw4 with about 100k on it, no issues.
231 tc with 268k on it, never had an issue with it.
New sensors include,
Knock sensor
O2 sensor
Cps
And tps
Edit also has a fresh oil pan and valve cover gasket.
