I did notice that the cv boot was not attached so I have re packed it with grease and secured could it be the bearing ?
CV boot? Do you have a Grand Cherokee?

So, leave the rear doors on and leave the windows rolled down.

My kids have been riding in the back with no doors since they were 3. If they're strapped in like they should be then arms and legs shouldn't reach the door.

I misread his response.

At least all that typing I did didn't go to complete waste.

I was thinking he was concerned about leaving the back windows down. I see now that he'd like to keep the back doors on but the windows can be down.

I can see how that would be a concern on the roads.

97+ rear bumper caps, two bolts, then I pull upwards to pop them off the clips?

Anyone have the torque specs for all the oil pan bolts AND rear main bearing cap bolts on a 90xj?

I've got side to side movment on front output on np231 no leaks....is thisnormal? Ideas somewhere something about a loose yoke....any info would be helpful

Negatory. If the yoke is moving sideways relative to the transfer case your bearings are shot.
