I'm 99% sure the problem is in the door, where it goes from door to body.
Its a 99 so I guess no luck on the kick panel disco.
Looks like I'll have to repair what's there. If I remove the pin in the small hinge that's in the door, it'll swing open further right? I have no room in there to investigate things.

You can remove the check pin but it won't open much farther if any at all.
Well what size is the stupid glass?

Looks very similar to my seepage. I read that since it is on the passenger side it is likely just seepage. My understanding is this side is not under pressure but rather gravity allows the oil to flow back down. All I have read also says no big deal.

Head gasket seepage? I have verified that it IS NOT the valve cover so my next guess is head gasket based on the location of the oil. It all starts directly below the head gasket. NO OIL above the head gasket. So, is this a common place for a 99 to seep oil?
I did the oil filter adapter mod, so no leaking o-rings from the adapter. I did not clean the engine after the mod, so maybe this is still old oil that blew up from the old leak. I fixed that leak more than 7,000 miles ago and I just noticed this oil. By noticed, I mean I smelt a faint burnt oil smell and took a look this weekend and noticed this.
Any thoughts?

Or you have some serious blowby happening...and a leaky head gasket. But thats very unlikely.

97+ do have door wires connected in the kick panel. There's a lot in the front driver side, and more in the passenger.
I'll probably get into one at the JY and see what I'm dealing with.
