0331 TUPY is indeed on 2002+ 4.0s. Any owner with an original 0331 can also use one from an earlier XJ, but you'd need to fab up something for the coil rail.
Lol prone

Wife or girlfriend riding with you when you hear that high pitched noise?

I want to put some switches in the top of the center console. How does the black part of my console come of on my pre 97? I think it just pops off after the 2 screws by the actual console are removed. Right?

Default Upgrade Alternator

Sorry I didnt take the time to read all 1500 pages to get to this question.

I am thinking about upgrading my alternator, seems the system gets quite taxed when the a/c turns on, plus i am adding fog lights and maybe some running lights.

Who makes the best alternator?

What is a good price for a higher amp alternator?

i have seen them as big at 300??? will that melt your electrical system?

Thanks for any help!

Checky the first post here: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/bud...herokee-58797/

AFAIK anything larger will require physical modifications and upgrades to the electrical system.

How bad would a 3/4" long 1/8" gap between my cat and down pipe be to my gas mileage? Theres no way to get the top of it welded. Any ideas as to how to seal it?
