Wouldn't 2 door xj rear work on the rear of an mj?

BW, yes. Napier, I assume so. Can we cut out sheet metal from an XJ to patch an MJ's wheel well? Not that simple.

Those aftermarket flares work because they're designed to have sheet metal cut away. We just cut less.

Yeah like on a 2 door xj rear mj flares will require some sheet metal triming

So couldn't you use some h.o.r.e. tube fenders for a 2 door xj?

Hell no. I just looked them up, and I was impressed until I saw $400 price tag just for fronts.

EDIT: And the rears don't provide nearly enough coverage on the back of an MJ for what I'd be doing.

Yea, I they are high dollar, but they are strong, I'm too cheap for bushsmackers though, so there is no way I'll get those.
