According the manual, only dash illumination(dash cluster lights, ac/heater illumination, and 2hi 4hi 4lo shifter illumination) and radio illumination i believe.

The 5 amp correct it also powers the light aroung cig lighter ash tray light and toggle switch id lights have you checked those make sure not any grounding issues?

Yes its a 5 amp. And ive checked a couple grounds. Only found 1 under the dash. Im not sure what a bad ground would look like though. I dont have any ash tray lights. Mines an SE so this issue is basically the only electrical thing in the whole damn jeep lol.

Not looking for a ground wire looking for a wire shorting to groung and you have the same wiring harness as all other xjs the bulbs are just not installed or burnt out remove bottom dash panel that ash trays in mabye issues lies there

X2. Check wiring harnesses near pinch points or moving panels for broken insulation that will allow the wire to come in contact with another wire or metal.

Theres also lights behind these panels for switch illumination both sides of steering coloumn...

Well i have the lower dash off all the time searchin for the issue, but ill get back to it again today. Ive never seen a wire going towards the ash tray. Thanks for all the help guys i appreciate it.

Also, my ceiling dome light doesnt come on when my driver side door is open, but it does when the passenger door is open. Could this possibly be the issue?

The little push rod sensor might be jammed or not hooked up.

Ya thats what i was assuming. But so far ive learned "assuming" things with a jeep is a very bad idea.

What is the equivalent grade 8 size bolt for the factory leaf spring bolts?
