The Fog lights won't turn on.
The light on the switch does not light either.
One second they worked then nothing.....after 25 years, I suppose that's pretty good. I know both lights are good.
I suspect, since the switch light now does not light, that it must be lack of power to the switch.
I don't see a fuse.
The main lights and everything else is working.....wtf!!
Is it common for the switch to fail?

Could be the switch's ground.

That happened in my 99 I flicked to the side of it with my finger a few times, turned it off and on, magically it worked again. It hasn't had a problem since.

I don't know if you'll be that lucky. Most likely the switch is burnt out because I think they run the power thru the switch. Probably need a new switch and to run them on a relay. What wattage are they? Are they stock? Maybe the lights/bulbs are bad.

My personal opinion is "No."

If you're looking for cheaper lifts, check out Zone.

C8.25 uses the same carrier for all gears and factory LSD, IIRC.

x2 on that. About 5 years ago, I came across an XJ with the Up Country package and was oblivious to how rare these things are to find... Could've had skids out the **** but my thought at the time was, "Oh, I'll find another one sooner or later..." How stupid of me. Haven't seen another on since.

X2 means another person agrees on what was just said. Like hey nice jeep, the next guy that likes it says "x2" meaning he would also agree with that statement.

^This. Some other forums use '+1' but most people here use x2, x3,...
