My '97 has 2. I lucked out. Only 1 cat.

The 2 right after your pre cat. Do those.

How many miles?

Little trick the auto shops do. When you take those out. Drive it. If it picks up power, your cat(s) are probably bad. Just FYI.

His '01 still has to have a full cat. It has those two additional "pre-cats" on the manifold cause ChryCo sucks.

Yeah, only the three. Th fourth one would come after the cat but it wasn't there.

That is a good point. While some states don't require smog checks and people think they can remove the cats, federal law does. Its a federal crime to remove it.

With that said. I have researched online. There was a blog on a dyno test with a hi flow cat and no cat. The hi flow cat produced more HP actually.

I want them pretty bad... and I wouldn't pay over $250 (more like $200) unless wrapped with decent rubber.

OK need opinions, a buddy is making me a tire carrier bumper. I told him no recovery points since I have the trailer hitch already. Or would it be better to have the bumper with recovery points and mucho tie ins and ditch the hitch? I do haul stuff from time to time
