Also I am kicking around the idea of just getting is AUX cable and, I would have to pull the stereo out, looking to see if I could just go that route to use an MP3 device.

towing with an xj
I found a trailer that weighs 420lbs and be filled to 1500. It has no brakes? Would that be an issue with putting quad and some gear in it?

How much does a quad + gear weigh? You want at least surge brakes over 2500 lbs IMO
Oops misread. That's 1500 with the quad and gear? Should be okay as long as you brake early

Try bending out your portions on the light socket some and see if that helps. Looks like not all that much difference, The prongs may have bent in over time.

Cherokee won't start
My 89 jeep cherokee pioneer won't start. All the electric works but it won't crank the starter. I totally cleaned the NSS out like new and everything. I put a new battery in it, starter works fine, and I cleaned and checked all the terminal connections and fuses. It will start and run fine after letting it sit for an extended period of time but then just not start out of the blue, daily. I also tried to bypass the NSS however it won't start then either. I even went to the extreme of filling every single wire terminal connection with dielectric grease. Like i said, it runs fine then won't start other times. I put some flood lights on it and Hooked up my electric fan to an auxiliary switch but it was quite some time ago and it never gave me trouble een after I installed those, I upgraded the radiator system to an open system and I has worked fine but when I had the older closes system it used to leak hot coolant on the wires under the hood. It worked fine for about 2 weeks after I put upgrade in it. So i had no problems for aboit 2 weeks after all my costumization. Any ideas?
