Windows wont go down
Need some help.
I have a 2001 Limited. The passenger and both back seat window controls do not work. These windows go done only when I use the controls from the drivers side. I tried pushing the window lock, but this does not help. It seems that the window lock button may not be working. What do you guys think. Is this an easy fix?
Thanks

You idea of the lock button sounds quite logical as I would not expect all 3 switches to go out at once. If that is the case then it should be easy to fix. Door panels arent too hard to take off, then disconnect and remove switch. Put in new switch and put door panel back on.
Would be good if you could find a switch to test with. Maybe a good buddy with an XJ that would let you remove his to test yours? Though you may be able to test the drivers side switches with a multimeter. Since I do not have power windows I cant tell you how to test the window lock switch.

Someone else on here had this problem, and where the harness goes under the carpet the connector had corroded and needed cleaning. After cleaning all was well. Read the last post.->https://www.cherokeeforum.com/showth...windows&page=2
