What exactly to replace...?
Hi all. Long story short.
I hot a couple big potholes at night and now there is serious vibration
at a faster speed in my 92 cherokee.
The rear driveshaft is solid. The front end is a different matter.
Checking it out I found that the bushings on the tie rod ends are very loose.
I marked the loose bushings on this pic in blue. Is this the cause of the grinding/vibration at higher speeds? What exact parts of it do I need?
Also what is the part in the red arrow? My drivers side one is bent out of shape quite badly.
Thanks for any info.

My 92 is stock.
Tomorrow I'll check out the easy things and eliminate them as a cause.
Steering shaft, diffy fluid, wheel bearings, etc....
Rocker arm huh? I'll check it out as well.
Darn mystery problems.....

Is it the bushings that r loose or the tierods themselves? If just the bushings then put some grease in them..First try to have your front tires (or all 4) rebalanced.. As for the red arrow it is your swaybar end link. The blue marks should have a zirk fitting for a grease gun but if not I have poked a lil hole in the boot and used a spray can of white lithium grease and that works goo too

just unbolt the sway bar links, and ziptie them up. I've been driving without swaybars for a month now with no problems :P haha. just don't take turns like you're in a nascar.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
On doing a fuller inspection today I found that the axle u-joints are completely toast, nothing but powder inside them. Completely loose!
The guy who had this before me never replaced them.
A nightmare getting through rusted bolts and so on but one is finished.
Tomorrow the other axle u-joint and then deal with the tie rod end stuff.
The more you look the more to fix it seems.
