long story short so when i bought my cherokee it came with welded on rock sliders
. now im looking to remove the old ones and buy some new ones from JCR
...lol. but with my current ones welded on should i take extra time to shave it all off and attempt to "fix" that welded on area?? im just afraid that area that is welded after i remove everything is gonna be really weak....inputs? ideas?greatly appreciated thanks

.. that welding anything or trying to "fix" the uni-body is only a temp fix?

Have you considered Frame Strengtheners?
I just ordered a pair and JCR Stage-2 Rock Sliders a couple days ago. Hope I get em next week.

sorry for the quality.. i just barely got off of work...
looks pretty straight forward. i wanna bolt this new one in but i dont want my body to break or something from the weld
if you look closely at it you can tell whats the weld and whats dirt.
