Which one?

NP231 varies a little throughout the years. Here's the manual for the older one. Difference is in the tail cone and sensors/vacuum switch. Not sure what year yours is. Everything else is the same.

I can drive for about 15mins and then loud squeak starts. Stops only when the jeep stops. You can hear the squeak slow up as jeep slows up. Sounds like it's coming from where the front driveshaft goes into tcase.

When the front driveshaft comes through the floor board as you slide sideways to a stop, replace the case soon after.

Is your avatar the Heep you're having the problem with?

Have you greased your front drive shaft slip joint?

Have you checked your front drive shaft u-joints for slop?
