Track Bar Bushing at Frame Mount: Is This Normal?
Working on getting rid of the developing death wobble. I'd have to special order the bushings for the track bar, so before I do, maybe y'all can tell me if this is normal looking to you. I've yanked the bar around, but it doesn't budge. Of course, that might mean I'm pretty weak.
Sway bar and sway bar link bushings replaced (they needed it). Ball joints are good. Gonna change the steering damper. So hopefully, this'll take care of the wobble!

that isn't a bushing, it's just a sleave to keep the grease in there. Have someone saw back and forth on the steering wheel while you look under it, if it's moving around, replace the track bar.

Ahh...okay. I'm trying to save some cash. Wouldn't it be cheaper to change the bushings? I mean, the entire track bar couldn't have gone bad, could it? I guess it would be easier to just change the whole bar, but it's like $60+ vs. $12.

The end in your photo is not replaceable separately. Have someone wiggle the steering wheel as suggested, while you observe that end. Shouldn't move.

The part the track bar bolts into looks to be cracked.
For sure, have someone move the wheel L/R and see if anything moves. If the end of the track bar has play in it where it bolts into the frame, it needs to be fixed.

well no, it's not a bushing, it's an actual tie rod end. But the tie rod end and the bar are one piece. The axle end has a bushing but we're talking about the frame end. No bushing.

Thanks all! I guess I'll just bite the bullet and put on a new track bar & frame mount. Didn't notice the crack before. Probably go with a Teraflex track bar. Seems easiest to adjust and accounts for the new 3" lift while leaving room for expansion later.

I would suggest looking at another brand other than TeraFlex.
Tera uses a non-replaceable TRE at the frame side of their track bar. Once it fails (and at some point it will) You'll have to replace the entire track bar.
Rubicon Express or JKS are much better options.
