From a guy who's put over 400,000 on my '95 Country's inline 6 , I know several
quirks and issues that can pop-up that might call for homebrewed solutions ala mcguyver;
did anyone else consider the rattle that zip tying the shroud back on could summon
& think that maybe a strip of maleable metal to shim the looseness or that possibly one of the fan or shroud screw holes
might have been fouled so instead of tapping it a slightly larger size , the PO just screwed it with that tin strip to permit the bite needed
for affixing it back on?

Ya, me too - it's coming from somewhere under the upper cross brace and it's still attached to something. Not sure when I'll get a chance to remove that brace to take a look.

The definition of noggin pokin.....
The only way you're gonna find what you're looking for is to GO LOOK!
Around the Jeep that is. In these parts, we call it "noggin pokin".
That's where you use your God given senses to inspect YOUR Jeep for problems. We can only provide you with guidance as to where to poke your noggin.
There's no Silver Bullet cure you're gonna find from a keyboard, mouse and monitor.

Old fart with a wrench
Seems like a LOT of people just like posting on the forum BEFORE getting their hands dirty, Cruiser!

Sorry Lads. Just too busy with Christmas festivities. I'll get to it but it'll probably be Jan.
