im looking for a spool locker for the chrysler 8.25 27spline rear any one know were i can find this or a locker that is locked all the time like a spool locker?

you have to weld all 4 spiders with good welds, not getting slag on anything. and weld on both sides of the carrier. so 8 welds total. and i have known people for years who run welded diffs both on and off road with no issues for hundereds of thousands of miles. You just have to get good penetration on your welds.

I had a spool in my tj, and my current xj is welded. Only difference (if its welded right) is the price!

Use nickle rods and you will be golden. You won't find a spool for the 8.25 because it has c-clips.

iv been reedin on the forum that they wear out and arent that great offroad...does anybody have a good history with the lockrights do they take hard abuse in the woods and on the streets?

ive never heard bad things about lockrights also yukon started making one called the spartan locker
