Default rear sway bar?

So I'm putting my first lift in the xj this weekend. Question is simple. How important is the rear sway bar? I read everywhere to take it out, and i know it's not as important as the front, but since I won't be 100% wheeling yet and using it as my DD, is there a disco for the rear or not. or if it's totally worthless to have
thanks

Totally worthless to have...you will notice very little change with it gone.

Default Rusty's said take it off.

You get more articulation with it gone.

I took mine off and noticed no difference on the streets, but much more articulation in the back when offroad. I say go for it and don't look back.

Mine is primarily a DD. Took mine off and the only difference I noticed is that the ride quality improved some.

Oh ... LOTS of PB blaster and having a friend around to help you maneuver it around helps.

Or just cut it off depends on what tools you have available.

Sounds like a cheap improvement.

Mine resides in the back seat of my old Mercedes that I use for a tool box/shed/junk parts dump.

took mine off and didnt really notice a difference. Use mine *** a DD like most of the other people to.

Oh and a tip, when your arms get tires, dont use an impact on the bolts that go into the frame lmao. What a mistake that was....The very last bolt i said screw it and busted the impact out, bolt came about half way out and the welded nut in the frame spun off. Had to cut the bolt, let the nut and other half of the bolt drop into the frame. Luckily there are (drain?) holes in the bottom of the frame so with a bit of maneuvering and a magnet, i got the nut and half bolt out.
