1996 Classic, 217000 miles...I have owned it since 1997 with 15000 miles. This is the original power steering pump.
While doing a little noggin pokin I have come across something I never have noticed before. It is either a crack or a stress partition in the pulley and I am wondering if this is normal or do I need to replace it.

I looked at a pump I have sitting on the shelf, looks the same. I'm guessing its a flat piece of metal that they roll into a circle and thats where the ends meet
