Default power door locks

if any can shed some light to steer me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. I have a 2001 jeep cherokee sport with approx. 85000 miles. among a few issues I encountered a problem with the power locks. it appears the circuit may be draining the battery down. with low battery when I open the drivers door I hear continual attempted lock operations without ever touching a lock switch. once the battery is recharged this discontinues however I have no lock operation from any switch. when I remove and reinstall the circuit fuse all locks immediately lock. I have no switch control over any locks, however I can get some intermittent sounds from within intermittent doors. I also can manage some shutter from time to time from the rear door lock as it attempts to operate. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration
Duane

I am not expert, but the relays that control the locks are in the passenger front door control. Not sure if one of the relays are sticking. I would also check for bad wires in the door (rubber boot in between body and door) --start with driver door since that's the one that seems to be the issue

this thread shows how to solder the drivers side control. I still think your problem is a broke/cut wire in the door, but if you don't see anything obvious in the door boot, maybe this will work.
