I have oil in my air filter and i cannot figure out why. The module thing thats attached from the crankcase to the filter housing is covered in crusty oil and dirt but i checked the hoses and they seemed clear to me.
Any help would be appreciated thank you.

The CCV lines, there is no PCV, need to be clear with no restrictions. They must not be cracked or broken. The grommets must be in good shap also or the system will not work properly.

Yeah, I know. I just didn't want the OP to look for a PCV. He needs to verify the integrity of his vacuum lines.

Replace the hoses/plastic pipes. If they get partially clogged, the system doesn't work as designed.
There's also a factory mod you can do if you feel like pulling the valve cover off.
