Default Oil Adapter bolt torque specs

hey fellow trail friends was wondering what are the torque specs for the oil adapter bolts gonna change the seals in the oil adapter and wondering what the torque specs were thanks

I think the factory uses 8.3 million ft/lbs...

most likely tight as hell. if i cant find specs i tighten it down till i think its enough(depends on the part ofcoarse)

Seriously - It's an O-ring seal with one bolt through it. It's not a head gasket. Just tighten it really tight. You'll be fine.

id say tighten it till it doesnt leak anymore then a little more.

I believe he was just being funny as the factory puts them on rather tight and uses LocTite. He's obviously removed one before!!

According to the 1997 Service Manual, for the 2.5L engine = 75 ft/lbs, for the 4.0L = 50 ft/lbs.

I thought the 4 cylinder didn't use an oil filter adapter.
