Out with the old, in with the new...
Do not mind the orange cut wire, it goes to the ac compressor which has not worked in a long while....

Well Im back to the drawing board guys.... replaced the pump finally and nothing, so its back to being an electrical issue.
It has to be from either relay... theres no power from either terminal side of the ballast resistor. But at the relay theres power on the red wire, yellow wire, and orange wire when the ignition is turned... So im there again

yeah, in a sense... he used a paper clip, i used a wire.
Nothing, still did not hear the pump running... there was power because when i put the red to the orange there was spark or electrical current going through.

I've jumped power from bat pos right to the real terminal of the resistor to check the pump. Done with the key on as power could back feed and I don't want to see what that does!
I've never jumped it from the start relay, but I don't see why not. Might be nice to hear it run.
Your fuel pump relay should always have power at 30. The sides, 86 I think gets power from Ign, then when the puter grounds 85, power goes up and out 87 to the pump. (might have 85-86 reversed, don't think so)(Edit, I didn't reverse them)
There is no fuse other than the fused link off the start relay.

Ok so i had some time today...
First thing i checked using a test light is where i had power... on the fuse pump relay 30 (red wire) i had power with both the key on and off and tested at 11.8, at 86 (yellow wire) i had power only with the turn of the key on and tested that at 11.8, at 87 (orange wire) no power at key on or off and tested at 0, and lastly at 85 (orange wire with black strip) was power with the key on and tested at 11.8. I think thats where the problem lies

So i tried something, at the fuse pump relay i connected a fuse link with 15 fuse in it to the 30 (red wire) and to the 87 (orange wire). Nothing blew up... thank god
But the pump did not hum, turn on, or pressurize. So i left it like that for a while i checked out the power with the test light. I had power going to ballast resistor (both sides) and even the fuel pump. Which was weird because it was not working, so i took the test light to the wires. There is 3 wires in the inside of the cab that lead outward to the fuel pump connector, i checked there... I believe it was pink, black, and another color ( i cant remember) but what i found interesting was that their was power in the pink and black wire but no power in the center wire.
The min. i took this bypass off and connected the wires back into the relay, no power again. Nothing in the ballast resistor, nothing in the wires leading to the fuel pump
