No fuel in lines or pressure

Regarding this thread by you [Wires the same https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/wires-same-235166/ ] if that bad connector and wiring is from the kick panel cavity back towards the gas tank on your Jeep; the 94 harness might be the same except the fuel pump connector may be different shape and the wires may be a different color. You will need to take a look and decide.
If not NAPA Auto Parts have the GM Weather Pack Series OEM Terminal series parts but the 10 pin connector may be hard to find.

After rethinking your problem with the burned connector; if it were me I would go to pick and pull salvage yard armed with a pair of diagonal wire cutters and whatever else you need to remove the driver’s side kick panel.
Look for a Renix era Jeep; remove the kick panel and takes the diagonal pliers and cut the gray connector out with as much spare wire you can get.
As to why the connector burned like that a wild guess is either a loss connection at the connector or a direct short some place between the connector and the fuel pump.

Okay, sorry to revive an old thread but i wanted to finish this post.... So before posting my jeep on craigslist to sell i decided to give it another couple months of working on the bugs... And i have to say i am a jeep owner again, it fired up... can not drive it yet because it needs to be inspected but its the 3rd or 4th day she fires up and no problems

So what i did..... from the beginning....
1. Replaced all 4 relays on the passenger side
2. Replaced the resistor on the driver side
3. Replaced Fuel Pump & Fuel Filter
4. Added new ground to the fuel pump side connector
5. Replaced Starter Motor Relay & Redid terminals that went to it
6. Cruisers tip #1 for ground refreshing (battery negative cable, firewall)
7. Cleaned ground spots on engine ^^^ (engine dipstick area)
9. Redid wiring inside the jeep from driver kicker panel to rear of the vehicle ( from connector to connector, even color coded best as possible)
10. New Relay holders for the passenger side (cleaned, new terminals, dielectric grease)
11. New ECU (i got a 1990, for the upgrade
) Cruiser tip # 40
12. Added 5 gal. new of fuel and octane booster ( didn't know how old the fuel was at this point)
13. 2nd New fuel Pump ( under warranty, so got it for free
)
This when i finally heard the pump running but the rubber lines popped.... so
14. Replaced all rubber lines dealing with fuel
Crossed my fingers, key in the ignition... heard the pump run, turn the key... jeep back fired and ran.... after that starts up fine and no back firing
I wish i could tell you guys what fixed it but i can not, i can tell you what i did. For whoever reads this in the future, peace of advice... Patients is a big key in all of this, and this would have been a lot easier if you have your own garage or somewhere to work on your jeep. An apartment parking gets difficult at times
