I am going to the parts store in the am to pick up a new blower motor and resistor. what I was wondering is how does the cage come off of the motor? Do I need to pick up a special tool while I am at the store? I have a 96 sport. Any help would be great.

 

I am pretty sure it is held on by what I call a push nut,but what I would suggest is taking it off before you go that way there will be no question.
