Default Need help and thoughts

Hen I shift from reverse to drive or after coming to a stop then going I push the gas and it'll take a while to get in gear??? Or in reverse goin up a hill the transmission or somthin slips then it'll roll forward then get back into reverse???? Help.

Um no. Level on what? And I'm replacing the u joints this week if those are bad enough could that be it

Check the transmission fluid level. Mines did the exact same thing when it ran low doe to a bad rear seal.

There's a dipstick to check the fluid level in the trans. Let it idle for a few minutes before you check the level.

The "automatic" isn't referring to checking its fluid. You need to do it!

Okay. But I have some bad vibes etc that people on here have told me would b the u joints. Then came this problem so yeah.

If you're in an auto class, have someone help you the first time. Checking an auto isn't hard, but needs to be done properly. Too much fluid can cause problems as much as not enough. Make sure to use ATF+4 in it too.
