I think in Cruisers HO/Renix swap it says to use the flywheel and Dizy from the Renix. (amongst other stuff). Since the Renix will run fine with the Dizy unplugged that might not be your problem. (#1 IS at 5:00 viewed from the side?, (153624 clockwise))

No idea what the HO flywheel does in a Renix myself. Any black smoke? Check fuel pressure?

is that the renix distributor thats in it? i believe that wire is for the cam position sensor which also controls injector and spark timing.

have you checked compression, did you mess with the base engine timing at all??

The "sync generator" in a Renix dizzy controls nothing but the sequential firing of the injectors. Not ignition related at all.

good luck with getting cruisers input with as rude as you were to him, what i can tell you though is if you didnt mess with the timing chain or camshaft the base engine timing is fine.

The reason I asked if there is black smoke is because the brittle little tube from the inside of the throttle body back, then up to the MAP sensor on the firewall needs to be flawless. Cracked, off, or plugged up and it will run rich, which may make black smoke.

It could be not answering questions like that is partly why you are getting bad responses. I DID take the time to read your deal and ask the question....
