In that case, yeah, you might do well with an upgraded ball joint. I'm running 235's on a mild lift.
Tinytrax - how long have you had the Alloy's? I'm assuming they're working well for you.

on the alloy usa joints , this is my 4th year on them , not a ton of miles (maybe 20k) but all hard wheelin miles I beat the pants off my xj and are running 34x10.50 x 15 bias ply swampers on diy beadlocks that are very heavy

Interesting.
I put the moog's in my XJ last year and have put about 5k on them. It was one of the first fixes when I picked up the Jeep. I don't do any rough driving (imo anyway) - mostly snow and when I need the cargo space.
My previous Jeep was a TJ and I hated the Autozone joints but with lifetime warranty and needing to pass inspection, I kept replacing them. I'm hoping it was just poor quality parts and not my driving. I never changed from the 30.5x9.5R15 OEM tires and did a little light wheeling in the wrangler.
If the Moog's don't hold up I'll probably go with an upgrade since I don't have the time these days that I had back when I had the TJ. It sounds like the alloy USA is the real deal though, so I'm noting it fort future reference.
